Captain "Black Jack" Malvosie is somewhat legendary in this region for his exploits as a gentleman rancher, prospector and gambler. His adventuresome nature and free spirit are a part of the fabric that was the Wild West. Jack's predisposition to games of luck was only equaled by his love of the rich red wines of Oporto. Our South Coast Port is a tribute to the history and tradition that embodies the wines of Portugal and Captain "Black Jack". This blend reflects opulent ripe berry fruit and nutty aromas, along with a warm silky finish; character that only these styles of wine possess. Cheers! And here’s to Jack! Blended to emulate a late bottled vintage port, the Black Jack Port has rich fruit character and dense extracts that give wonderful mouth feel and flavors. Subtle nuances of chocolate and berry meld with delicate oak aromas to give the sensualand decadent experience that Jack would expect.
