Syrah is the key grape of the Rhone Valley of France. It is also known in Australia as Shiraz. Typically Syrah is a full, rich wine with intense color and flavor, as demonstrated by the many different Syrahs currently on the market. Well, Ruby is all about these things and more. Ruby Cuvee is made from Syrah grown on our estate vineyards at Temecula Springs. Hints of berry, lavender and supple tannins are signature notes. This sparkling wine brings out the berry-fruit character of Syrah, along with a sweet, tart finish, coupled with tannins that are lifted by the tiny bubbles. The finishing dosage gives a light sweetness and balance to this wonderful sparkling wine.

South Coast Winery Ruby Cuvee represents the elegance, style and vivacity of an era long past -- a time when red champagne was the rage and the 1920's roared. The Syrah for Ruby Cuvee was harvested exclusively from our Temecula Springs Estate vineyards that surround South Coast Winery. This sparkling wine exhibits a deep ruby-red color with delicate lavender edges and an aroma that is brimming with nuances of strawberries, raspberries and sweet chocolate. Finished as an Extra Dry, Ruby Cuvee is lush and fruity, yet wonderfully balanced with a crisp acidity. So take a sip, close your eyes, and allow Ruby Cuvee to ceaselessly bear you back to the past.
