2009 South Coast Winery Muscat Canelli
Muscat Canelli is a wine that gives the true taste of the grape; abundant spice and tropical fruit character with a sweet, round finish. Known for its uniquely spicy and aromatic "grape" character, Muscat Canelli is one of the oldest cultivated varieties dating back to the ancient Greeks. Typically, Muscat Canelli is finished with varying levels of residual sugar to balance with the sweet fruit aromas that are characteristic of the varietal. Our 2009 vintage is sweet, but nicely balanced with a crisp acidity and moderate alcohol. Light citrus aromas are enchanced with the spicy fruit character. Enjoy this little slice of heaven in a glass any time, and the world will seem a little less daunting. And who knows, maybe life's problems will pass as well.
